Travelling..my passion :) - Pt II

Well rite now while publishing this is going to be my 100th post :) But there a few updates still pending to be published... But i'm still regarding this as my 100th post n celebrating!!!! :):)
The best part is dat its about wat i love most in life :) :) :)

Kashmir-heaven on earth :)
Its really the most most most beautiful part of the planet that u can ever see :)
Well theres the main Kashmir wid Gulmarg, Pahalgam, Srinagar and all and then theres Leh, Ladakh... :*

Kashmir is like royalty...u get such special treatment (by the nature haan, tho even the ppl r wonderful in leh, ladakh, main kashmir is just about ok ok, u do need to b careful). Nature is really glorious out there... Srinagar wid its lakes and gardens is wow :) Staying in d houseboat is lovely :) But the Dal Lake is not really the cleanest n quite populated..not as serene as i'd love but still very pretty...:) Its lovely to sit in the house boat n stare outside...look at the cloud gathering slowly over the mountains, the sun setting in d backdrop, a slight drizzle forming n then cool rains........mmmmmmmm:) It is BEAUtiful:)

Ok...mesa back :)
Soo....


First up was Pahalgam for us...very very very peaceful n relaxing :) Our hotel ws a bit off from d market..wid a garden overlooking d river...

D sound of flowing water continuously in d backdrop...n we'd often sit there n keep watching d river flow.... it was very calming :) Then the market..we'd go down there by d hired van n roam around n eat at Nathu's Rasoi...hmm...yummm:) we took off for a horse ride once to Aru village n once to Baisaran..
Baisaran was mesmerising..simply hypnotising! d simplicity, d beauty, d untouched nature....wow :) d ride ws crazzy u kno...the slopes were soooo steep bt d horses..damn sure footed..n d horse riders actually walked along so calmly even wid those slopes..it seemed so unreal! at d top it ws freeeeezing!!!! there ws this very small hut where uncle offered us kahwa...yummm:*it really brought me back to life! i ws starting to get a fever actually :P Later i came around to b so sick that at one pt of time i ws hallucinating : | But my dad..always d hero ;) he ws all prepared for d cold n brought me back to normal in a day or 2!
Ok..back to baisaran.. later while coming back down, the horse riders rode wid us...we had quite a good chat..about their childhood in Kashmir..how they learnt to ride wild horses n all! It ws something out of a story book... Later at the hotel we had a talk wid d Kashmiri waiters..he told us hw he used to b tortured coz he had lite coloured eyes..salt on cuts n all :( well anyways...the stay turned out beautiful there :)

Next we went to Gulmarg....another pure beauty! There are miles and miles of lush green hills n grass n peaks topped with snow like icing on a cake... its a treat to watch :)

Our hotel ws sooo very cozy :) Then there was this ride up d Gondola to the peaks...:) Snow n snow n snow!! wow:* we were playing n enjoying n sooo happy u kno:) we went on to try skiing (it ws a joke..not d sport type..just being dragged on skis by d ppl:P:D) n sledging....now that ws an experience!!! Coming down the snow slopes in speed!!! aaaaaaaah!!!!  but then later i ws beggining to feel cold n weak:P still...it was real fun..real!
Then there was this waterfall that we visited...it was HUGE.... coming in from in between two mountains..u can just see the water gushing in..n we were on d bridge n den on dat mountain u kno..sooo close...it ws scary to an extent! really....it ws so powerful...coming down wid all force n sooooo loud..u cudnt hear see or even think about anything else standing there next to it..u can almost see ur life go by.....
And there ws dis smaller waterful nearby our hotel itself....so cute!

wid luvly grass around it n colorful ladybird:D we went ahead n sat in between d waterfall u kno..in d freezing cold on some stones in between! was sooooooo nice n sweet! :)

Last was Srinagar.. d Dal lake n houseboat experience :) the market here ws buzzing :) n we'd splurge on sweets at Nathu's Rasoi here :D Also there are these extremely beautiful gardens out here...really awesome:) but u cud feel u r in kashmir here u kno..wid army ppl standing around everywhere... i really wish for peace in dis heaven.......

And as for Leh Ladakh...its too long a story to fit in here :D
N ya, one more story pending...bout d short trips dat we hav;)
We went to Shirdi on 12, 13th dec btw! :)
